Strategy and Innovation

As part of the CMHA team, Steph advises members on the design and implementation of their mental health and wellbeing strategies. Steph also works closely with the alliance to identify key challenges that benefit from collaborative and innovative problem solving and within the workplace mental health space.

 

Steph previously worked for management consultancy Oliver Wyman where she took a ‘strategy-by-design’ approach, consulting employees and using existing survey data, to develop the organisation’s mental health strategy and implementation plan. Steph also ran yearly innovation challenges where she brought employees together via collaborative workshops to surface and solve challenges impacting employee work-life-quality using Ai and other innovative approaches. Prior to Oliver Wyman, Steph worked for Deloitte and Nissan where she ran and fostered the organisation’s innovation community spaces, The Garage and The INFINITI LAB respectively.

 

Steph also works as a qualified Counsellor at Central Minds, a psychology clinic in Central. In her practice as a therapist, Steph works with adults who struggle with feelings of anxiety, perfectionism and self-doubt to embark on professional transitions with confidence. Stephanie recently conducted practice-based research on the drivers of Imposter Syndrome, identifying mindset and transitionary moments such as; career pivots, promotions, redundancies, or returning to work after parental leave, as key drivers for psychological distress. She also works with individuals seeking work-life-balance and satisfaction at work in spite of high-pressure circumstances or internal concerns about external judgement.
