Doni Shamsuddin is the Chief Executive Officer, Asia Pacific for BNY Mellon Investment Management. Doni is responsible for the company’s strategic objective to grow BNY Mellon's Investment Management business in Asia Pacific. He is a member of the BNY Mellon’s Asia Pacific Executive Committee and a Board Director of various BNY Mellon companies. 

 

His career at BNY Mellon spans over 20 years, with a total of 25 years of international experience in the financial services industry spanning London, Tokyo and Hong Kong. Most recently Doni served as the CEO of Asia Pacific ex Japan for BNY Mellon Investment Management. Prior to this, he was the CEO of Hong Kong & Co-Head of Asia Pacific. Doni joined BNY Mellon in January 2003 from Mazars in London where he was a Senior Auditor. Doni is a Chartered Accountant (ICAEW) and a CFA charterholder. He holds a B.A. in Accounting, Financial Management and Economics from The University of Sheffield.
