Hilleke has oversight of all CMHA HK activities, supporting team members to deliver our annual program of training, events, resources and member engagement while leading on research, strategy and business development. She works closely with the CMHA HK Board to set long-term strategic objectives that support members and the broader Hong Kong business community to increase awareness of employee mental health and improving workplace culture to create psychological safety at all levels within an organisation.
Hilleke joined CMHA HK in 2020 with over 15 years’ experience in health program management and evaluation in government and not-for-profit agencies in Australia. She holds a Master of Economics and has lived in Hong Kong since 2010.
As part of the CMHA team, Steph advises members on the design and implementation of their mental health and wellbeing strategies. Steph also works closely with the alliance to identify key challenges that benefit from collaborative and innovative problem solving and within the workplace mental health space.
Steph previously worked for management consultancy Oliver Wyman where she took a 'strategy-by-design' approach, consulting employees and using existing survey data, to develop the organisations mental health strategy and implementation plan. Steph also ran yearly innovation challenges where she brought employees together via collaborative workshops to surface and solve challenges impacting employee work-life-quality using Ai and other innovative approaches. Prior to Oliver Wyman, Steph worked for Deloitte and Nissan where she ran and fostered the organisation's innovation community spaces, The Garage and The INFINITI LAB respectively.
Steph also works as a qualified Counsellor at Central Minds, a psychology clinic in Central. In her practice as a therapist, Steph works with adults who struggle with feelings of anxiety, perfectionism and self-doubt to embark on professional transitions with confidence. Stephanie recently conducted practice-based research on the drivers of Imposter Syndrome, identifying mindset and transitionary moments such as; career pivots, promotions, redundancies, or returning to work after parental leave, as key drivers for psychological distress. She also works with individuals seeking work-life-balance and satisfaction at work in spite of high-pressure circumstances or internal concerns about external judgement.
As part of the CMHA HK Training Team, Bea is responsible for designing, developing and delivering training programs that integrate best practice standards and evidence-based content that supports workplace wellbeing. She holds a Bachelor’s degree in Applied Psychology and Sociology, from the University of Surrey in the UK, a Master’s degree in Counselling from the University of Hong Kong, and a certificate in Mental Health First Aid.
Bea has previously worked in corporate language education and the charity sector in London and Hong Kong, where she engaged with people from diverse backgrounds and gained insight into the challenges faced by workers in fast-paced cities. During the pandemic, Bea saw an increased need for workplace wellbeing support and initiated development and delivery of a series of staff wellness sessions, building on her prior experience as a teacher and trainer.
In her position at CMHA HK, Bea utilises her knowledge and skills in psychology and education together with her varied professional experiences to address the complexities of mental health within the workplace across different job sectors and staff levels.
Cherry joined CMHA HK in 2019 to manage the development and delivery of workplace training and has continued to shape and develop topical training modules for both member and non-member companies. She holds a Bachelor's degree in psychology from the Upper Iowa University and a Master's degree in Counselling from The University of Hong Kong.
Cherry has extensive training and counselling experience in Hong Kong and the Mainland and is a certified Mental Health First Aid instructor. Before moving into the field of mental health, Cherry worked in training design and delivery in both tertiary education and the commercial sector. Cherry is a Certified Mental Health First Aid Instructor and delivers training in Cantonese and Mandarin.
As the CMHA HK Operations Manager, Iona works across all areas of the organisation to ensure team processes and operations run smoothly and efficiently. As a key member of the Training Team, Iona is often the first point of contact for CMHA HK training enquiries, coordinating on training needs and all areas of logistics and support. Iona also covers all financial and reporting requirements, managing accounts and providing executive support to the CMHA HK Board and Managing Director. Iona has extensive background in supply chain, administration and operations and her previous experience includes HR and administration, vendor management, executive assistance and project coordination.
Gabrielle is the Event Manager at CMHA HK, responsible for planning and delivering events and also the development and delivery of training programs. She holds a Bachelor's degree in Business Management and Marketing and a Master's degree in Psychology.
From a career in private sector marketing, Gabrielle transitioned into event management for NGOs. This diverse professional background gives her a unique perspective which she applies in her current role.
In her position at CMHA HK, Gabrielle uses her educational background in psychology and business, coupled with her varied professional experience, to address the complex work-life challenges that can impact on mental health.
As Marketing and Communications Manager, Winnie is responsible for increasing awareness of CMHA HK as a leading organisation for workplace mental health in Hong Kong. She supports the team to grow the CMHA HK membership community and promoting its initiatives across the Hong Kong business sector. Additionally, she assesses relationships with community partners and affiliates to identify opportunities for further collaboration.
With over 20 years experience in financial public relations and the financial services sector, Winnie is a seasoned public relations practitioner. She brings a wealth of expertise in corporate communications, merger and acquisition support, crisis management, and event planning. She holds a Bachelor’s degree in Translation and Interpretation from the City University of Hong Kong. Now, she is excited to pivot her career to advance workplace mental health.
Kelvin is the Digital Manager of CMHA HK and has 10+ years of experience in digital, with a focus on marketing technology, marketing automation, lead generation, data analytics, website projects, and digital marketing operations.
